Official Opening

The official opening of the Cambridge Pancreatic Cancer Centre was held on the 28th of March, 2011 at the Cancer Research UK – Cambridge Research Institute. The event included talks from distinguished guests including Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Professor Sir Bruce Ponder, Dr. Gareth Goodier and Professor John Neoptolemos. The topics covered included the need for collaborative research, the challenges in pancreatic cancer care, developing therapies for pancreatic cancer and the patient perspective.
