Dr. Susan Davies – Pathologist
Dr. Susan Davies is a consultant histopathologist and current lead for hepato-pancreato-biliary and gastrointestinal disease pathology at Addenbrooke’s hospital.
She completed her pathology training at St Thomas', St. Bartholomew's and Liver Unit of King's College Hospital, gaining FRCPath in 2001. She has collaborated as pathologist on research studies in various disease models including Barrett's oesophagus, hepatocellular and pancreatic cancer. She is involved in several review-based research studies and active clinical trials, including the first national trail on neuro-endocrine tumours of the pancreas. She has organised and chaired various meetings on gastro-intestinal and liver disease, as well as teaching programs and training days.
