Pancreatic Cancer UK (PCUK) and Ellis Family, the funder of the Ellis Future Leader Acedemy (FLA) in Cambridge, visited the Centre for the 3rd year
PCUK and the Ellis Family recently visited the Centre for a 3-year progress update on the FLA students. It was a privilege to host them and showcase some of our recent research findings aimed at transforming and expanding the current therapeutic options for pancreatic cancer.
Following the research briefing, our FLA students led a lab tour, where they demonstrated immunohistostaining slides using microscopy. These slides are essential for distinguishing between the cancer stroma and cancer cells, providing valuable insights into tumour microenvironment.
